An effective team building event does not only involve fun & games but also advocates a realignment of a company’s direction and employee mindset. With that in mind Brandt Business Services gathered 60 of its leaders for a packed day of activities, discussions, & bonding between departments. The entire day was geared towards leadership effectiveness, developing a strategic mindset, and building the foundations of a ‘One Team’ spirit. The games designed were embedded with lessons that drove our competencies like leadership aptitude, forward thinking, application of good strategy towards a goal and team motivation. The entire day the leaders discarded their department titles and viewed themselves as one. With the mission and vision of Brandt revisited, it gave the leaders a fresh perspective of how they need to view themselves in the organisation & the application of the competency framework.  The event ended with leaders being charged like well oiled engines, ready to take the lessons they gathered back to their respective team. The best part of the day other than the business-related learnings, was the simple comradery that was formed when all gathered under the same roof. Leaders getting to know each other outside of work and forging friendships that is going to redefine teamwork for each one of them and the organisation.
